The Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site is currently reviewing its management plan and will be hosting two public consultation meetings on July 10th, 2018 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm to present its draft management plan. A summary presentation will be delivered at 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Members of the public are invited to provide input and feedback on the draft plan at the sessions being held in the recently restored Stores Building at the canal. The draft plan’s key strategies, objective and targets will be on display with opportunities for members of the public to offer their suggestions and comments.
