The College’s Board of Governors last night approved increases that will see domestic rates rise by an average of 2.9% which is within the Ministry’s maximum allowable increase of 3%.
There are some higher cost and higher demand programs that are above that average—-aviation is increasing by 5% which will increase the cost of the program next year by 450-dollars to over 94-hundred dollars.
There is no increase to international tuition fees.
Meantime, the number of international students at Sault College continues to grow following what was the largest intake of international students last month for the local college.
Sault College welcomed another 145 international students in January bringing the total to around 260——that number if expected to grow to 300 in September.
