Some very positive numbers for the Sault in the latest jobs report from Stats Canada.
The unemployment rate last month came in at 4.1%——down significantly from 7.9% in the same month a year ago.
Increases were also seen in both the participation rate and employmen rate.
The participation rate which measures both the number of employed and those unemployed but actively looking for work came in at 55%—-up 2.2%.
The employment rate last month was 52.6%—-in November 2016 it was under 50%.
