SaultMIA three month review of the Sault, Michigan City budget is on tap on Monday night at City Commission.  Any revision would reflect the actual budget up to September 30th compared to the budget that took effect July 1st.  They include 147 thousand dollars more in expenditures for the Water and Sewer Fund and an increase of 203 thousand dollars in General Fund revenues.  A miscalculation in the area of In Lieu of Tax — Water has been mentioned as the reason for those changes.  In addition, the Downtown Development Authority Fund will experience an increase in transfers of 10 thousand dollars.  This money will come from the General Fund to help with snow removal.  The city’s Parking Deck Fund will also receive an increase of more than 73 thousand dollars through the Tax Income Finance Authority 1 transfer.
