City police news release…
On April 20th, 2017 just before 11:30 a.m. officers with the Crime Suppression Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit and Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at a residue in the 100 block of St. Georges Avenue.

During the search officers located 2.6 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 1.3 grams of Crack Cocaine and .5 grams of Cocaine.  The total street value of the drugs is estimated at $560.00.
Officers also located 2 knives that opened with centrifugal force as well as a set of brass knuckles and nunchucks.

As a result of the execution of this warrant 3 individuals were arrested.

22 year old Joshua Wilson on St. Georges Avenue was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, 4 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, one count of breach of probation; and 4 counts of possession of a weapon contrary to a court order.  He will appear in bail court today.

44 year old John Pine of St. Georges Avenue has been charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon; and one count of breach of probation.  He will appear in court on May 29th, 2017.

42 year old Maria Zonga of St. Georges Avenue has been charged with 3 count possession of a controlled substance and one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon.  She will appear in court on May 29th, 2017.
