SportsThe Soo Greyhounds lost to the Saginaw Spirit 4-3 in overtime last night.  Zachary Senyshyn, Boris Katchouk and Jack Kopacka scored for the Hounds.  The Soo Thunderbirds improved their NOJHL-best record to 30 and 3 after they defeated the Soo Eagles.  Matt Pinder led the winners with a goal and an assist.  Ryan Mulligan and Mark Tassone also tallied for the Thunderbirds.  Akemjii Williams’ 15 points led Lake State to an 89-80 win over Lake Erie College in men’s basketball.  The Laker women were also victorious, bouncing past the Storm 51 to 44, led by 11 points and 7 rebounds from Mackenzie Edwards.
