SSMPoliceCity Police arrested two men early yesterday morning.  Officers were called to respond to a complaint of domestic assault and forcible confinement at a residence in the central part of the city around 2 o’clock.  The men — age 21 and 35 — surrender without incident.  A search warrant was executed at the residence, resulting in a quantity of drugs and weapons being found.  The pair face a slew of charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a loaded weapon and possession of a firearm without a license.  Both males have appeared in WASH Court and are scheduled to appear in bail court tomorrow.  Police are still investigating.

Police are asking the public for their help in identifying a man brought to the Sault Area Hospital.  The male was located yesterday morning before 5:30 in the area of Allard Street and was minimal clothing.  He is currently under medical care.  The male is described as white, 55 to 65 years old, 5-9 to 6 feet tall, 230 to 260 pounds with grey shoulder length hair and a full grey beard.  He has blue eyes and a faded hook like tattoo on his left forearm.  The man is said to be a frequent transit rider in the area of McNabb Street and Allard Street.  If anyone knows someone of this description, police are asking to check on the man’s well-being.
