Supplied by Sault MPP David Orazietti… Sault Ste. Marie – Associate Minister of Finance, Mitzie Hunter was in Sault Ste. Marie as part of the province-wide pre-budget consultations, which include in-person sessions, telephone town halls and online idea-sharing, David Orazietti MPP announced today.

“Our government’s pre-budget consultations allow local residents to provide important insights and feedback that will help draft the upcoming 2016 Ontario budget,” said Orazietti. “I’m pleased that the Associate Minister of Finance had the opportunity to visit Sault Ste. Marie to listen to the priorities of individuals and organizations.”

David Orazietti MPP and Associate Minister of Finance, Mitzie Hunter heard the views expressed by individuals, organizations, associations and other stakeholders on priorities for the 2016 provincial budget.  Pre-Budget consultations are an important way for Ontarians to have their say on how to grow the economy, create jobs and plan for the province’s future.  Ideas gathered through these consultations will be considered as part of the budget development process.
