ADSB_CLCC_Green_2_1600Algoma District School Board (ADSB) elementary students will benefit from a new elementary school addition at Central Algoma Secondary School (CASS), offering a modern learning environment where students can achieve their best, David Orazietti MPP announced today.

With a $5,518,903 investment by the Ontario government, the new Central Algoma Elementary School supports the ADSB’s consolidation plan of their schools, reducing the cost of under-utilized space and reinvesting savings back into the classroom.

As part of the ADSB’s capital plan, in 2013 the Ministry of Education approved the construction of a new gymnasium and renovation project to accommodate Grade 7 and 8 students at CASS. The new Central Algoma Elementary School will accommodate approximately 125 Algoma area students from JK-6.
