Sault MPP David Orazietti talks about the need for Ottawa to update the Trade Remedy Modernization Plan outlined by the Canadian Steel Producers Association after an announcement at his constituency office on Wednesday.

As a followup to a letter David Orazietti sent to Prime Minister Trudeau back in early December, the local MPP has launched a website and petition drive calling for fair trade for the hard hit Canadian steel industry. Two out of only three fully integrated Canadian steel producers have filed for protection under the Companies’ Creditor Arrangement Act—–Essar Steel Algoma filed in November.
