Sheldon Keefe is leaving the Greyhounds to become the Toronto Marlies’ new head coach.  Keefe has spent the last three seasons behind the Greyhounds bench.  The A-H-L’s Marlies are the farm team for the Toronto Maple Leafs.  A story on the Greyhound’s website offers this reaction from Hound’s GM Kyle Raftis “This is a very exciting day for Sheldon and his family. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to work with Sheldon this season. It comes as no surprise that opportunities have presented themselves this year as he is a rising star in the coaching ranks.”

“We are very appreciative to Sheldon for the impact and contribution he has had with our organization over the past couple of seasons. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
