LakeLevelsThe International Lake Superior Board Of Control is out with its lake level updates for June.  Lake Superior is 19 centimetres above its long-term average for this time of year, while Lakes Michigan-Huron were 19 centimetres higher than their long-term average.  All of the lakes rose 8 centimetres last month, while they usually rise an average of 6 and a half centimetres during June.  The board predicts that the levels of Superior and Michigan-Huron will continue to rise in July.   It also reports that Lake Superior is 4 centimetres higher than it was at this time last year and is 47 centimetres above its chart datum level.  Lakes Michigan-Huron were 28 centimetres higher than twelve months ago and are 72 centimetres above their chart datum level.  Net water supplies for all three lakes were above average in June.
