(Sault Ste. Marie, ON October 21, 2016) – This weekend the Sault College Cougars will play host to the Michigan State Spartans in men’s hockey action.  The college’s hockey teams are competing this year as a non-member against schools in the American Collegiate Hockey Association – a Division 3 member league made up of institutions throughout the United States.
This marks the first time in history that both the Cougars and the Spartans will square off. The puck will drop tonight at 8 p.m. and tomorrow at 7 p.m. Both games will take place at the Rankin Arena.  Tickets are $3.00 each for public members, students and seniors are $2.00, and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.  Admission is free for Sault College students with a valid student card.
The Cougar men look for their first wins against American competition after dropping their first two contests to Grand Valley State University earlier in the season.  The hockey programs will also play Saginaw Valley, Lake State, Schoolcraft College, and Northern Michigan as they work towards membership in the ACHA.

Come out and catch great collegiate hockey!
