A new study published in The New Yorker reveals that 15% of all Facebook posts now include some type of e-laugh. 51% of those are ‘haha’. Other findings:

– 33% of people show laughter with an emoji

– 13% of people show laughter with “HeHe”

– only 2% of people now show laughter with LOL

– men most often show laughter with ‘haha’ and ‘hehe’, whereas women use an emoji
