Garden River First Nation will be holding an education rally today scheduled from 4 to 6 pm at the corner of Highway 17 and 17B.
The First Nation in a statement promoting the rally says it opposes proposed cuts to education by the Ford Government.
Garden River First Nation employs 15 Anishinaabe Support Workers who provide additional supports throughout both English district school boards and those workers know first-hand that classrooms are already crowded.
Chief Paul Syrette says all our welcome to participate in the rally and stand together to support more investments for our students not less.
