A 22 year old male turned himself in to police this morning following a breach of recognizance inwhich he is said to have attended his ex girlfriend’s residence in an effort to get her to change her testimony in a domestic-related court case. A man and woman passing through from Saskatchewan stopped off for a meal at a local restaurant last evening.  Upon finishing, the woman soon after realized she’d left her purse behind … returning to the restaurant she learned another male customer had picked up the purse and left before finishing his meal.  The culprit was captured on video and police continue to investigate the theft. A brown Trek mountain bike was also reported stolen from McRae Street last evening.

Sometime between August 28th in the afternoon and the morning hours of September 1st a red Toro lawnmower was taken from a carport on Chlebus Street.
