OntarioYoung people in Ontario will soon get help in finding employment.  As many as 27 thousand people age 15 to 29 are expected to benefit through the Youth Job Connection, that will start in October.  A special focus will be on helping young people living with barriers such as mental health and poverty to find work through pre-employment training, job opportunities and mentorship.  This group may include youth are not working or in school or not enrolled in a training program.  Affected young people age 15 to 18 will also get help through summer, part-time and after school job opportunities if they are experiencing challenging life circumstances transitioning between school and work.  This part of the program will take effect in the spring of 2016.
