I have seen this ‘style’ on television and right here in the Soo!

I love clothing and made a pact back in my radio college days, that I would “Dress for Success’, in turn, dispelling any notion that ‘broadcasters’ were all talk and no style!
This is what I always have relayed to folks who question why , I dress up, to do a job in a padded studio, with nobody seeing me. In this day of social media , pictures are quite common. Back in the 1980’s, this was not the case. ( tell your children, who don’t believe we ever dialed a telephone or made calls from a phone booth!)
I have also said, ‘One never knows who may enter the studio in a high ranking managerial position.
Please let the record show, I am still dressing up in 2018 and that manager has not entered my studio.
Many have dropped by, saying ,’Boy you look good!’ LOL ( I guess that’ll have to do right?)

Thanks to everyone for posting your incredible responses on Facebook today!

I have got pairs of black shoes as well, but I wore the brown pair to Radioland with the blue suit to get your opinion.
Almost 100 percent of you agree, Blue suit and brown shoes IS indeed ‘A thing!’

One friend said, I should Just Own It!… and I do. I have always dressed the way that I want to dress. Being unique is very important to me. It always has and always will.

Thanks again for your input folks.
