Lainey Wilson has been named Breakout Artist of the Year at the CMT Artists of the Year celebration.

Lainey says, “This past year has been a wild ride. To be considered for this award reinforces that the years of hard work my team and I have put in was all worth it.”

Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Walker Hayes are also honorees. Alan Jackson will be named Artist of a Lifetime.

The CMT Artists of the Year special airs on October 14th.
