Board Director Rose Burton Spohn in an interview yesterday provided the latest numbers…

Burton Spohn says they have received responses from about 90% of parents and guardians.
The Board has also been provided a total of more than 400-thousand dollars in special provincial funding to support the return of in class instruction.
She says they received word Friday of 115-thousand dollars in funding to support teacher staffing and remote learning.
Another 101-thousand dollars will go to enhance custodian staffing levels…

Another big chunk, 105-thousand dollars will provide additional mental health supports.
Burton Spohn says they will also be hiring or increasing the hours of noon hour aides as lunch time will be staggered and they will likely be hiring more teachers.
