Darth Vader Works At Tennessee Hospital: Inside Edition claims a man named Darth Vader works at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Darthvader Williamson is a surgery tech.He tells the TV show; “When I was born, my mother wanted me to be named Junior, which was after my father, Anthony Lee Williamson. But him being a Star Wars buff, he was so enamored with the character Darth Vader, he was like, ‘This would be one bad name for our son.’ Under the effects of anesthesia, [my mother] would’ve agreed to anything. She was like, ‘Yeah, OK fine.’ When she realized what she had done afterwards, she was like, ‘What’ve we done?!’ He was like, ‘No, no, it’s cool, he’ll be OK.’ And it just stuck. I’ve been asked for autographs, I’ve been asked to take pictures… It’s both good and bad.”

The “Star Wars” fanatic has been amassing his Vader shrine for over 20 years. He has spent more than $280,000 on everything from figurines to replica lightsabers. Several of the items in his collection are so rare that they don’t even have a “market value,” but some of his 60,000 toys could fetch as much as $16,000 if sold.

McBride tells the Daily Mail: “The moment Darth Vader burst on screen in Star Wars, I was immediately a fan of the character. Man Has $225K Star Wars Collection: Londoner David Oldbury has spent $225,000 on his Star Wars collection. He has over 9,000 pieces of memorabilia in his home. David is renting rooms in his home for $50 a night. He has over 500 figurines and tells the Daily Mirror: “I became a fan of the franchise as a schoolboy after watching the first film in 1977 when I was eight years old. Since then I’ve scoured the world in search of meeting cast members from the various films. I have lots of stories to share from hanging out with my heroes and I look forward to giving my guests the inside scoop.”
