The countdown is on for possible job action at Algoma University involving its faculty.
The faculty are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and a no board report has been filed with the Ministry of Labour following conciliation.
Once the Ministry sends out a no board notice that starts a process that legally allows for job action following a 17-day period.
The union says wages remains a key outstanding issue.
The union says there is still time and they are willing to do what it takes to ensure Algoma University negotiates a fair agreement.
OPSEU Local 685 represents 60 full-time faculty at Algoma University.
