Some improvement in the Sault Jobs picture according to the latest figures from Stats Canada.
The August numbers shows an unemployment rate of 6.4% down more than 2% compared to the same month a year ago.
There was also improvement in both the participation rate and employment rate.
The participation rate which tracks both the number of employed combined with those unemployed but actively looking for work rose 2% to 58.3%.
The employment rate rose 3% to 54.6% with the number of employed at 36-thousand-400.
