The Sault's Unemployment Rate up a Bit

Not much change in the Sault job numbers when comparing last month to November of a year ago.
The unemployment rate came in at 7.9%—-that’s up from the year ago rate of 7.5%.
There were more people in the Sault’s labour force not working than working as the employment rate came in at just 48.6%—–the year ago rate was also under 50%.
However, the participation rate which tracks both those employed combined with those unemployed but actively looking for work came in at 52.8%.
