Sault Ste. Marie, ON – Sault Ste. Marie City Council is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on various boards and committees. Appointments are for two years.

Upcoming vacancies for Boards and Committees to which Council Appoints Members (but which are not Boards or Committees of Council) include Algoma Public Health (3) and the Police Services Board (1).
Individuals are required to submit an application form available online at saultstemarie.ca/BoardsCommittees or from the City Clerk’s office – cityclerk@cityssm.on.ca, 705.759.5388 or 99 Foster Drive. Applicants are encouraged to identify skill sets that may be beneficial to the board/committee in question. Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act and will be held in strict confidence to be used solely for the purpose stated above.
Applications will be accepted by the Clerk’s Department– Level 4, Civic Centre, until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016. A nominating committee will consider the applications and make recommendations to Council for consideration at the December 12, 2016 Council meeting.
