Reminder that clocks “Fall Back’ this Saturday upon retiring…and some of us may gain the extra hour sleep. Some will party into the week hours..and then some, feeling they have a gift of one hour longer.

I had to turn off election coverage on the weekend, after Friday’s developments, as tossed to the parties by the FBI. More emails…not from Hillary Clinton’s private server, but Anthony Wieners device.
I have some pretty heartfelt empathy for the American voter come November 8th.
I have Aunts Uncles and cousins from coast to coast in the USA.
I seriously, would not have a clue for whom to vote in this election.
Like most Americans, I just want it all to END…and sooner than later. Polls show a close race and other polls , related, show that residents south of the border, are tired, fatigued and fed up.

Team Jacobs went down to the wire out West , but lost to the Swedes by a rock in an extra end.

From Wrigley field in Chi Town, the CUBBIES keep their World Series Hopes and Dreams Alive with a win over the visiting Cleveland Indians. Chicago wins 3-2, and forces Game Six back in Cleveland tomorrow evening.

– The National Restaurant Association says 20% of Americans will order takeout or delivery from a restaurant on Halloween.

– The National Confectioners Association reports that 99% of kids want candy for Halloween while the other one percent prefer salted snacks

– Some animal shelters have halted black cat adoptions because of Halloween. The shelters don’t want the cats being abused or mistreated or adopted for only a short period of time.

– Halloween night is Papa John’s second busiest night of the year behind Super Bowl Sunday. 50,000 employees and 20,000 drivers will help prepare and deliver 900,000 pizzas

– The Mother Nature Network claims parents are not only going to be checking their kids’ Halloween candy for razor blades, they’re also going to be checking for peanuts and wheat. The new measure is necessary because of how many children are allergic
to nuts

– Haunted Houses are expected to make between $300 million and $500 million this year. The average admission price is between $12 and $15. There are over 1,200 professional haunted houses nationwide.
