Search Continues for Missing Boater

(HAVILAND TOWNSHIP, ON) – Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing the search for 25 year old  Dewayne Shreve who was last seen on August 4, 2016 while fishing with another male in Haviland Bay on Lake Superior when their 12-foot aluminum boat overturned about 250 feet from shore.
An OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) and two OPP Marine vessels remain on scene.  Divers are using side-scan sonar and a remote operating vehicle in their search.
The investigation is continuing.
