The Soo Greyhounds selected forward Barret Hayton with their first pick, ninth overall in the OHL Priority Selection draft.  Hayton is 6 foot 1, 179 pounds.  He had 73 points in 56 games this season with the Toronto Red Wings Minor Midgets.  He’s a native of Peterborough.
