ADSB_CLCC_Green_2_1600 Due to declining enrolment, the Algoma District School Board will be reducing the number of teaching positions at both the elementary and secondary levels.  It will mean a cut of close to 17 full-time equivalent teaching positions—–7 at the elementary level and 9.8 at the secondary level.  The Board is expecting a decline of about 186 elementary students in the 2016-17 school year compared to this year and a decline of 178 students at the secondary level.  No changes are planned for the staffing levels for the Board’s Alternative Education Program as enrolment is expected to remain unchanged.
