Local curler Chris Glibota has won the Northern Ontario Provincial Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.  Glibota, and his teammate Megan St. Amand from Thunder Bay, defeated Team Gordon/Gordon from the Copper Cliff Curling Club by a score of 9-0 in Sunday morning’s final.  They opened with two in the first end and had steals in each of the next five ends until Gordon/Gordon conceded the game early.

Team Glibota/St. Amand  represented the Community First Curling Centre at the provincial championship that was held in Little Current.  They went through the 4-team double round-robin competition undefeated, finishing with a record of 6-0.
