CitySSMMonday’s Ward 2 by-election shaped up to be a two horse race.  The final numbers resulted in a third woman on Sault Ste. Marie City Council.  Sandra Hollingsworth won with 767 votes, outlasting Luke Dufour who earned 636 votes.  Community volunteer Susan Milne finished in third place, followed by former City Councillor Jody Curran and Les Weeks. Here are the full results from the vote that resulted from a 30 percent turnout, or about 29 hundred people who cast their ballots:
