CattleWorld-renowned Animal Behaviourist Doctor Temple Grandin will speak to Algoma Farmers on Sunday.  The event takes place at the Quattro Hotel on Great Northern Road at 2:30 p.m.  The 60 minute presentation will highlight how good animal handling practices improves productivity and animal welfare.  Doctor Grandin is a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University.  She brings her expertise in the areas of cattle handling, pen design and autism education with her to today’s presentation that is being put on by the Rural Agri-Innovation Network in partnership with the Algoma Cattlemen’s Association and the Algoma Autism Foundation.
