Regarding preparation of any clinics in the catholic board’s schools, Stadnyk says he can’t recall of any that are being planned at the moment. It is likely that APH would take the appropriate action to make vaccinations are provided, when a student misses an opportunity to receive their shot. During his time as a principal, Stadnyk says the vaccinations needed were ones for diptheria and smallpox. Since that time, there have been meningitis vaccinations along with gardisil — the HPV vaccine. He says some correspondence on the issue has been sent to parents, but he is not aware of any vaccination clinics happening in board schools at this time.
