OPPAnyone planning to head north at this time may want to reconsider their travel plans.  Highway 17 between Wawa and White River is closed until further notice due to a single vehicle accident.  According to Superior East OPP, two people were transported to hospital with serious injuries.  There is no detour and no immediate word when that stretch of the Trans-Canada will re-open.  The accident remains under investigation.
