City Police were called early New Years Day to a residence on Biggings Avenue regarding a fight where a 26 year old male had been stabbed.  The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated and subsequently released.  Yesterday 21 year old Cole Speers of no fixed address was charged yesterday with attempted murder. 23 year old Courtney Wabigwan of McNabb Street turned herself in yesterday regarding a theft. And sometime over the past couple days someone kicked open the back door to a home on Irwin Street and stole two power saws.
