OPP report most area highways are now open following closures brought on by weather conditions.  Highway 101 between Wawa and Chapleau is open … but Highway 129 between Thessalon and Chapleau remains closed. Highway 557 north of Lake Hope has re-opened.  And Highway 144 from the junction of 101 to the watershed has re-opened.
