PUC board members got an update on the new LED street lighting project yesterday … 1400 lights had been replaced around town as of yesterday … they plan on having 2500 conversions completed by the end of the month … and will tackle the remaining 6500 next year, beginning in the spring. The conversions are being made with changing over the highest energy using lights first … you can follow the progress and still report outages through the PUC website at:
