SSMPoliceIt didn’t take long for City Police to find a woman reported missing early yesterday afternoon.  Police asked for the public’s help in finding 76 year old Alexandra Galka, who had been last seen near the Sault Area Hospital yesterday morning.  Police reported locating the woman in good condition around 1:30.

Police also made an arrest yesterday after responding to a threatening call in the city’s east end.  An investigation revealed that the accused was in an intoxicated state and threatened to kill her neighbour and her neighbour’s dog.  The accused had also approached the victim with a knife.  20 year old Chelsea Fisher faces charges of threatening to kill an animal and threatening death when she appears in court December 14th.
