SSMPoliceCity Police made an arrest late last night.  It’s alleged that the accused approached a vehicle in the parking lot of the Market Mall and scratched the window glass and paint on it with a box cutter.  The accused was on probation at the time of the offence.  28 year old J-P Marcello of Second Line West faces charges of mischief under 5 thousand dollars and breach of probation.

Police made another arrest earlier in the day.  According to police, the accused switched price tags for children’s boots from a higher to a lower price tag and then paid the lower price at the checkout.  He was then confronted by store security and arrested.  At that time, he grabbed the security officer by the neck.  The officer was uninjured.  Gary Marini faces charges of fraud under 5 thousand dollars and assault.  Both accused are scheduled to appear in court November 23rd.
