On September 30, 2015 at approximately 11:40 pm an officer from the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police conducting radar patrol clocked a pickup truck travelling at a high rate of speed southbound on Highway 17 in Tilley Township.  The vehicle pulled over and as the officer approached the vehicle it turned and began travelling southbound on Highway 17.  The vehicle could not be located.

A short time later, OPP received a call of stolen pickup truck from a residence in the 900 block of Highway 563.  The pickup is described as a grey 2000 GMC Sierra with Ontario license AK77876.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
