Sault OPP received a report of a truck being stolen from a parking lot in the 100 block of MacIntyre Road in Aweres Township yesterday between 10 am and noon.  The vehicle is a 2008 GMC Sierra Z71 4X4 crew cab.  The vehicle had a silver diamond plate tool box in the rear with licene plate number 6238NM.

Batchewana First Nation Police are investigating a report of a driver failing to remain at the scene of a vehicle///pedestrian accident from last evening around 8:30 in the 100 block of Frontenac Street.  It’s reported that a 15-year old male was walking on the gravel side of the roadway when a white vehicle with black mirrors made contact and continued without stopping.  The 15-year old received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
