City Police arrested a 17 year old boy – already on probation – following a crime spree back on August 1st that started with the theft of a vehicle from Industrial Park Court … he then drove it to Great Northern Road – smashing into a tractor and causing it to flip onto it’s side.  He then drove off to Aweres Township where he got stuck in a ditch … undaunted, he stolen a second vehicle and then drove back to the Industrial Park area before it broke down.
42 year old Lawrence Gatza of Ferguson Avenue was charged early this morning with theft for allegedly going through unlocked vehicles in the eastend and stealing items such as an iPod and a woman’s purse.
A 21 year old male was arrested overnight regarding a series of domestic assaults dating back over the past year.
