City Police

City police arrested a 32-year old man and charged him for a domestic related sexual assault, assault and threatening.  It is alleged that the incidents took place between April 2014 and this month.  The complainant received no significant physical injuries from the reported assaults.  The male is the common law spouse.

One of the drivers involved in a collision late yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Asquith and Dryden is reported to have fled the scene.  A person in the other vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  Late last night, police arrested 23-year old Gregory Charrette of Korah Road and charged him with dangerous driving, failing to remain at the scene and theft.

Just after 1 this morning, city police were called to a residence on Boehmer Blvd. and arrested  two local men.  It is reported that the homeowner confronted one of the men inside the home and the other outside.  37-year old John Rocher  of Lothian Avenue has been charged with trespass at night and 29-year old Jesse Cook of Albert Street west has been charged with break and enter with intent and trespass at night.

32-year old Luc Dale of no fixed address attended the city police station and was arrested on outstanding warrants on charges of transportation fraud, assault, assault with a weapon, failing to attend court and breach of probation.

City police charged a 22-year old man with theft as it is alleged the accused stole two televisions worth 25-hundred dollars from his parents’ home.

City police received two mischief complaints.  A home and vehicles were egged on White Oak Drive and front and back windows of a vehicle were smashed out on Albert Street west.

A number of unlocked vehicles were entered on Churchill Avenue, McAllen Street and 3rd Line east—items stolen included a Garmin GPS, CDs, a digital camera, and a wallet and change.
