Justin Trudeau says the environment and the economy are like paddles and canoes — you can’t get where you’re going unless you have both.   The Liberal leader made the analogy during a campaign stop through Northern Ontario, including  Sault Ste. Marie yesterday ,where he unveiled a plan to invest 200-million dollars a year in green technology.  Trudeau says a Liberal government would spend that money developing clean technologies in forestry, fisheries, mining, energy and farming.  Trudeau visitied the Heliene (hel-ee-en) green energy facilities on Allen’s Side Road before assisting in the official opening of local liberal canadidate Terry Sheehan’s campaign office on Queen Street.
