BFNOn August 19th, 2010, the Batchewana First Nation and the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians worked together to bring the remains of BFN ancestors back to their traditional burial grounds.  A ceremony at Bellevue Park included the actual return from the Smithsonian Institute to Canadian soil.  The First Nation will commemorate the fifth anniversary of that event on Wednesday with a ceremony at the Goulais Bay Traditional burial ground and a feast at the community centre.
