There was a fatal, single vehicle accident on Highway 17 East, at Echo River Bridge in Garden River last night … forcing a reduction of westbound traffic to single lane at that location to allow for the completion of the OPP investigation.  The highway is open this morning.  No other details have been released regarding the accident.
