SSMPSCity Police have made an arrest in connection with a couple of assaults earlier this month.  It’s alleged the accused assaulted two victims at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre.  The first incident happened on July 10th, the second occured two days later.  The accused — 34 year old Dayna Johnston — faces two counts of assault when she appears in bail court today.

Police also arrested a man for possession of stolen property.  21 year old Nicholas Crack will appear in court on August 24th.  It’s alleged that a bicycle was stolen last Friday — it was located yesterday and the accused was arrested.
