ForestFireThe Ministry of Natural Resources reported two fires on Wednesday.  One of those is Chapleau 3, held at less than half a hectare in size and located on an island in Gravelridge Lake south of Foleyet.  Smaller blazes in the Sudbury and Bancroft areas are out.  There are ten fires burning in the northeast — seven of them are being observed in the far north.  The area from Sault Ste. Marie to Elliot Lake is of concern as it is under an extreme fire hazard right now.  There are 265 fire personnel from Ontario helping put out forest fires in Western Canada, mostly in BC and Alberta.
