InternationalBridgeWork will start next week to replace lights on the International Bridge.  96 white high pressure sodium bulbs along the top of the U-S and Canadian arch spans are being replaced with with new energy-efficient LED lights.  According to the International Bridge Authority, the new bulbs will result in a decrease in energy usage by 55 percent, translating into a total of about 75 thousand dollars in savings in energy and maintenance costs.  The work is expected to be finished by mid-August.
