SSMPSCity Police made an arrest just after 1:00 p.m. on Monday.  Police checked a vehicle on Ruth Street at Franklin for a traffic violation.  Further investigation revealed that the accused allegedly had stolen licence plates on the vehicle.  33 year old Travis Brown was charged with possession of property obtained by crime.  The accused is scheduled to appear in court on July 27th.
